Reduce Liability

Increase Customer Service

These systems are for more than just catching the bad guys. Video surveillance increases productivity and reduces operating costs.

In the past, video surveillance systems were provided as a practical security tool to catch theft and inventory shrinkage. Today it has migrated into a loss prevention and risk management tool to help mitigate such issues as liability, drug usage, harassment, and safety. It has effectively turned into an operations tool that can help businesses increase employee productivity, logistics, and add to your bottom line profits.

Having a system in the work place certainly excels as an effective business tool. Two of these areas are discussed in the following paragraphs.

Management Productivity:

At the management level, it offers the opportunity to identify training issues, and resolve them before they become unmanageable. It offers a way for management to identify and reward employees for doing their job correctly. It can reduce management turnover, and burn-out by assisting with supervision.

Employee Productivity:

Video technology has a significant impact on employee productivity. Knowing they are being watched improves behavior, and compliance to company policies and procedures. Studies have shown that monitoring combined with coaching significantly improves employee performance and retention.  Employees that understand the purpose for monitoring welcome it as a benefit to their jobs, and feel more secure.

Invest In Quality

1080p (also known as Full HD or FHD and BT.709) is a set of HDTV high-definition video modes characterized by 1080 horizontal lines of vertical resolution and progressive scan, as opposed to interlaced, as is the case with the 1080i display standard. The term usually assumes a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9, implying a resolution of 1920x1080 (2.1 megapixel) often marketed as Full HD.  ~ Source - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1080p

The higher the picture quality the better the picture especially on larger screens. Low resolution picture quality can look very good on small 4 inch screens, but when you need to increase the picture size that quality is lost and so is your chance of obtaining the footage you are after. Many cheap camera systems trick you in this way or you see clear live footage but when the recorded video is played back the picture quality is much less than expected.
